The Council of Europe has announced the composition of its new Expert Committee on Freedom of Expression and Digital Technologies. This interdisciplinary committee, which Natali Helberger is part of, will investigate the impacts of digital technologies and AI on freedom of expression. In the coming two years, the group of experts will help Member States to seize opportunities in this area, but also guide them to address the challenges of digital technologies on freedom of expression in our democracies.
