Tom gave a lunch lecture at the Kiesraad, the Dutch electoral council. He spoke about political microtargeting, disinformation, and presented ICDS’s online ad dashboard.
During the presentation Tom showed how Forum voor Democratie is by far the most active advertiser, that the more leftist parties (except for SP) target more women while the more rightist parties tend to focus more on men. The senior’s party (50+), predictably focuses only on the two highest age groups, while the Animal Party, the Green Party, and surprisingly, SGP tend to focus more on the younger age groups.
